Surgical Suture PGA 5-0, 18" Thread With 13 mm 3/8 Reverse Cut Undyed is a synthetic, absorbable braided suture composed of polyglycolic acid. It is designed for short- to medium-term wound support where predictable absorption and secure tissue approximation are required.

Its braided structure improves flexibility and knot security, offering precise handling and stable tissue approximation. Although undyed, the suture provides adequate visibility under standard surgical lighting. The low capillarity helps minimize fluid absorption and the potential for infection transmission along the suture tract.

The attached 13 mm needle features a 3/8 circle reverse cutting design made of stainless steel. This configuration allows effective penetration through dense or keratinized tissues such as skin.
